The family workout

The other day I got quite the surprise when I woke up from my nap in the afternoon.

I wandered downstairs to find all three members of my family (mike and the two kids) without their shirts on listening to loud music and working out. Apparently,from what Mike tells me, he was working out with his weights without his shirt on in the living room. Tyler came down and wanted to join him and take his shirt off too. So Mike let him and we don't have any small weights so Tyler started using the couch throw pillows. Then Makenzie came down and wanted her shirt off too. As for her weights, she found some little toothbrushes in boxes (I had just bought the kids some new ones that day) and decided that those were good enough. So here I come downstairs and find both kids half naked and lifting random objects into the air. So silly!

Snuggling

The other morning I came down and found the kids sitting together on the couch watching tv. I asked them what they were doing and Tyler told me that they were snuggling. He then asked me to join them. I asked him where I should lay down and he said, "Right on top".

Apparently, he didn't realize that I was much too big and much too heavy- cause after I did (jokingly of course) he told me that maybe I had better try the other couch instead.

Princess birthday party

Last week Makenzie was invited to a birthday party for her cousin, Gabi. She had so much fun. Princess Giselle from Enchanted came since it was princess party and all the princesses danced, read a story together, played in the princess castle and ate princess cake. The girls were all so cute and Makenzie still is talking about meeting Princess Giselle.
