A typical conversation

This conversation took place the other afternoon in the car. Mind you, Makenzie and Tyler argue about these kinds of things ALL the time. Half the time I think they argue just for the sake of arguing. It drives Mike and I crazy!!

Tyler: Mom- you are an "A+" mom.
Makenzie: She's not April's mom.
Tyler: Makenize, you don't even know what an A+ is.
Makenzie: Mom is not April's mom.
Tyler: An A+ means really really good.
Makenzie: Grandma Lewis is April's mom.

Hawaii looked amazing!! how much did you guys spend....i'd love to go with Ryan again! And your kids are SO BIG! I feel like I saw them resently but really, they all look a bit older! We should meet at Oakland zoo sometime...i'm getting a season pass there. Looks like your having fun!!

Such a cute story! I get a kick out of those little interactions as well. Ours like to argue over who Rhett likes best, who did or saw something first ("FUST"), who gets to pray, et cetera. You get the picture. My personal favorite recently, however, is when I'm sitting right there at the table or in the same room or car, and Annie does something totally innocent (or sometimes not so innocent) and Carson says, "I'm gonna tell on you. . . " and then turns to me and says, "Mo-o-o-o-o-o-m. . . " followed by some sing-song description of maliciousness. I LOVE IT!!!

I'm glad we both have blogs so we can stay in touch! All your kids are growing so fast, especially that little Austin. You really have such cute kids.

Yeah, I hear you on the bay area being expensive. We always thought we might end up moving back that way, but with the cost of living it just didn't seem worth it. You should move to Arizona! We have only been here since January, but we really like it.

Next time I am in Palo Alto we should get together.
